Reading the table
"Used by" lists every destination the manual names. Some cargo has two jobs: Fish and Meat go both to shops and to the canning factory, and Planks feed towns as well as furniture and tool factories. Not every cargo exists in every climate; check the climate page before planning a chain on a new map.
Cargo questions
How many cargo types are in Transport Fever 3?
36 in free game mode according to the official manual: 12 raw materials, 11 intermediate products, 3 booster products, 10 end products. Dev Blog 2 before launch said 37; some campaign missions also use special cargo.
What are the four cargo classes?
Goods, Bulk, Liquid and Flatbed. They decide which wagons and trucks can carry a cargo and which specialized warehouse can store it.
Which cargo do towns want?
Commercial districts take Beverages, Books, Canned Food, Clothes, Fish, Meat, Vegetables. Industrial districts take Bricks, Cement, Fuel, Furniture, Machines, Planks, Tools, Vehicles.
What are booster products?
Fertilizer, Machines and Tools. Delivered to a raw producer such as a farm or mine, they raise its output for as long as the delivered stock lasts.
